Calgary Senior is on the newsstands!

Calgary Senior is published by Alberta Business Research Ltd, which has been producing publications for people 50-plus since 1990 and publishes the largest number of senior publications in the province.

In this newspaper you will find a wide range of articles and features of interest to seniors. Subjects include current issues, health, travel, homes, and more. A column by Alberta Minister of Seniors, Yvonne Fritz, and a guide to events around town are among the regular features. (continued below)

Another ongoing feature is “Can We Help?” which will directly benefit Calgary’s seniors by extending some financial help to those in need. If you require a sum of money for a specific, one-time purpose or need, write to us and “Can We Help?” may be able to aid you.

As part of our efforts to keep you informed we are working with the city’s senior societies and centres, to provide coverage of their activities and upcoming events. The events being put on by a number of centres are outlined in the “Senior Activities” section in this Calgary Senior but we hope to include more of these in future issues.
