Fourth annual Seniors’ Housing Forum coming up

Aging in your home, community services, health services and caregivers and family dynamics are among the topics to be discussed at the fourth annual Seniors’ Housing Forum in Edmonton on September 25 is expected to have more than 400 participants – including older adults, their family members and caregivers.

The forum, which will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. at the Central Lions Senior Centre, will also feature a housing overview, wellness area and exhibitors providing information about organizations, services and products.

Organizations involved in the forum planning committee include the Alberta Association on Gerontology, Alberta Health Services, Alberta Seniors and Community Supports, Alberta Senior Citizens Housing Association, Alberta Seniors and Community Supports, CMHC, Greater Edmonton Foundation: Housing for Seniors, Lifestyle Options Ltd., Revera Inc., SAGE, and the City of Edmonton.
